Usually the travel insurances will cover specific topics as:

If you are traveling in family with UEMURA, we always recommend that all people traveling have insurance, including children. Because, although the cost of travel for a child can be, on occasions, very small, their risk of getting sick or requiring medical assistance are the same as those of an adult.

It is always your choise, but also, keep in mind that events that occurred prior to hiring are never covered. 

So we recomend to check the contract period in the general conditions of the insurance. And once you are satisfied with the information, contract what works best for your UEMURA experience.
