THE OLSÂNY CEMETERY

The Olsany Cemetery is the largest graveyard in Prague having more than two million burials. The Olsany Cemetery was created in 1680 due to the plague victims who needed to be buried quickly. The cemetery is famous for its wonderful art noveau monuments. There are buried many well-known people including: Josef Lada, Jan Palach or Klement Gottwald.
