Have you ever heard about Pingxi district? Uemura invites you to discover this famous district and its world-renowned Chinese sky lanterns. In the past, the inhabitants of the area used these lanterns to let their families know they were safe. Nowadays, these lanterns have a rather metaphorical meaning. They are a symbol of peace and good luck. Throwing them in the air attracts luck and is a way of making a wish. We will also visit the old street of Shifen, a train line used to transport coal, which, in 1992, was turned into a tourist route. In this district, we will also find the Shifen waterfalls, also known as the Taiwanese Niagara Falls. Please contact us if you need any information about the language of the tour, the places that we will visit and everything that is included in each of our routes.
