Île de la Cité

If you want to know the oldest place in Paris, you should just go for a walk around the Ile de la Cité,   once known as Lutetia. You will enjoy  the wonders like the New Bridge, the Archbishop's Bridge and, nothing more and nothing less, the Paris Cathedral. Downtown area Paris, draws the central lines of the city, which was created from that point.  Enjoy the wonderful façade of Notre Dame, walk along the banks of the Seine and enjoy the improvised concerts of the street musicians, because this is an area with a large number of shows that you will love.
